What is ceramic fiber rope?

Ceramic fiber rope is a kind of ceramic fiber insulation made from ceramic fiber cotton, alkali-free glass filament, and high-temperature-resistant stainless steel alloy wire. It has characteristics of excellent high-temperature resistance, low thermal conductivity, light volume weight, and good chemical stability. It can avoid erosion from most chemical substances. However, it cannot be used with hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, and strong alkalis. When it becomes wet from water, steam, and oil, its physical and chemical properties recover after drying.

Application of ceramic fiber rope

Ceramic fiber ropes can be used in fire-resistant, fireproof, heat-insulating, and friction material products in various thermal equipment and heat transfer systems.

Seal, packing, or gasket for or openings in ovens, stoves, furnaces, and boilers;

Expansion joint packing;

Metal casting seal;

Seal or gasket in other high-temperature applications.
