What is a ceramic fiber board?

A ceramic fiber board, a type of ceramic fiber insulation material, is also known as a refractory board or fiber insulation board. It is made from alumina-silicate fibers added to inorganic binders through the vacuum molding or drying process. The property of the board mainly depends on the purity of the alumina silicate, which is classified into normal, standard, high standard, and zirconium-containing ceramic fiber cotton.

Properties of refractory board

It has excellent toughness and strength, as well as excellent wind erosion resistance. It doesn’t expand, even when heated. It is light in weight, easy to install, and can be sheared and bent. It is an ideal energy-saving material for heat-insulating equipment such as kilns and air ducts.
